The Resource Center administers listservs on topics related
to national service. For a list of listservs administered by the Resource Center, refer to The Resource Center-Administered and National Service Listservs. The information given here is specific to listservs hosted by The Resource Center. For assistance
with other listservs, contact the listserv administrator.
Subscribing
Follow these steps to subscribe to a Resource Center-administered listserv:
- Go to the The Resource Center website.
- Click on Online Resources > Listservs located on the menu bar on the left side of the screen.
- Read the descriptions of each listserv and choose the listserv you want to join
by clicking on the name of the list, such as NSSCTalk.
- Click on the NSSCTalk link.
- Enter your e-mail address and name in the appropriate fields, and click the Subscribe > button.
- You will receive an e-mail message from the listserv to confirm you want to join.
Simply reply to the message. You do not need to type anything into the text box.
- You will receive a welcome message and be subscribed to the list. Carefully read
and save the welcome message for future reference.
Unsubscribing
Follow these steps to unsubscribe to a listserv via the web:
- Go to your listserv website by following steps 1-3 above.
- Click on the My Forums tab.
- A list of the listservs you are subscribed to will be displayed. Click on the Unsubscribe button next to the listserv that you would like to remove yourself from.
