spacer Senior Tech Center: Keyboard Shortcuts for Mac

Increase your productivity and prevent repetitive stress by using keyboard shortcuts! For many computer users, typing is less painful than using the mouse. Get in the habit of using shortcuts, and your comfort and speed at the computer will increase. Use these keyboard shortcuts in place of using the mouse to navigate. They will work with most Mac programs.

The Command key Command key image is located immediately on either side of the space bar. On most keyboards it has a small Apple symbol on the left bottom corner. The ( + ) characters are not meant to be used. They indicate that more than one key must be pressed at the same time.
