Increase your productivity and prevent repetitive stress by using keyboard shortcuts! For many computer users, typing is less painful than using the mouse. Get in the habit of using shortcuts, and your comfort and speed at the computer will increase.

The following shortcuts will work with most Windows programs. The ( + ) characters are not meant to be used. They indicate that more than one key must be pressed at the same time.

The Microsoft KeyMicrosoft symbol can be found in between the Ctrl and Alt keys on most Windows keyboards.

Mouse Keys

Move the pointer and click items on the screen without using your mouse! Activating Mouse Keys allows you to use the numeric keypad navigate your computer. To enable Mouse Keys, select the Start Menu > Control Panel > Accessibility Options, then click on the Mouse tab. Click on the Settings button to adjust the pointer speeds.
