FirstGov for Seniors
FirstGov for Seniors is one of several projects created at the direction of the National Partnership for Reinventing Government (NPRG). This comprehensive website allows seniors to obtain valuable health and security information and services at one location and to easily find the particular agency(ies) to satisfy their needs. It is hosted and maintained by The Social Security Administration (SSA).
LCAO - Leadership Council of Aging Organizations
A coalition of 50 national non-profit organizations concerned with the well-being of America's older population and committed to representing their interests in the policy-making arena.
NCOA - National Council on the Aging
The National Council on the Aging is the nation's first association of organizations and professionals dedicated to promoting the dignity, self-determination, well being, and contributions of older persons.
SeniorNet
SeniorNet's mission is to provide education for older adults and access to computer technologies to enhance their lives and enable them to share their knowledge and wisdom. The organization publishes a quarterly newsletter and a variety of instructional materials available through the website, holds regional conferences, and collaborates in research on older adults and technology.

Also known as the Urban Institute Report on Performance Measurement. This July 2002 Report commissioned by the Corporation recommends performance measurement steps that should satisfy the legislative requirements of Congress and, at the same time, provide information that the Corporation, State Commissions, and individual grantees can use to make program/service improvements.

Senior Corps and Project STAR have created the Senior Corps Performance Measurement Work Plan Library. You will find sample work plans from a wide variety of Senior Corps projects.
Senior Corps Volunteer Tutoring Toolkit
The toolkit was developed by the national literacy T/TA provider, LEARNS,
specifically for Senior Corps projects. The toolkit will help Senior Corps
project staff understand the implications of the No Child Left Behind Act
and ensure that Senior Corps volunteers tutor in the "spirit of No Child
