Creating an Account with Bloglines
- Visit the Bloglines website at http://www.bloglines.com/.
- Click Sign up now. It's free!
- Enter your user e-mail address, password, and other requested information.
- Click Register.
- Check your e-mail for a registration confirmation e-mail from Bloglines.
- Open the e-mail, and click the validation link.
You will return to the Bloglines website, which will display the window below.
Subscribing to RSS Feeds
- Click the check box next to the feeds you want from Quick Picks and/or Today's most popular subscriptions.
You may also choose not to select any at this time.
- Click Subscribe to My Selections.
A login page will appear.
- Enter your user e-mail address and password.
- Click Log In.
The feeds you are subscribed to will be displayed on your left. You can
click on any feed to have its postings displayed on the right.
- To add a feed, click Add.
- In the Blog or Feed URL text box, enter:
• A website URL. Bloglines will check to see if there is a feed available; or
• If you know that a website has a RSS feed, enter the feed URL. Using Easy Subscribe
Bloglines also has an Easy Subscribe feature, which
allows you to add a subscribe button to your Bookmarks (or Favorites).
To subscribe to the blog or site you're currently viewing in your
browser, all you have to do is click the button.
